Cordoba Monuments Tour
City of Cordoba belongs to the one of the most beautiful places in Andalusia.
The city of Cordoba is the capital of Cordoba Province, situated along the great Guadalquivir River. It is a perfect city for those who like to try traditional Spanish meals, dive into old wine bars, and explore famous architectural wonders. The magnificent Mezquita, a symbol of the city and the whole Islamic culture, stands above the town centre and attracts thousands of tourists into its arched interior every day.
Cordoba played an important role in the history of Jewish life in the middle ages. In the tenth century it became the seat of Jewish learning, scholarship and culture. The streets of the Judería (Jewish quarter) stretch out from the great mosque, unexpectedly emerging on peaceful plazas.
